Rasiglia is a wonderful tiny village in the municipality of Foligno, just 10 minutes from our Relais and Colfiorito. This small mountain hamlet is a real jewel, and made even more unique and charming by the karst spring of the Menotre river, that crosses the entire village.
In ancient times, being blessed by its crossing river, Rasiglia was a very important industrial center, whose factories relied on water to produce the energy needed to activate production machinery.
Its beauty has recently been featured in several television programs and articles in the main national newspapers, which showcased the beauty of what is now commonly called “the Venice of Umbria”.
How do you reach Rasiglia? Reaching Rasiglia is easy: as you arrive in Foligno, take the new Val di Chienti state road and exit at Colfiorito. Once you reach the plateau, take the old SS77 route and follow the directions for Casenove, then Rasiglia.
Upon request, Relais Forti offers its own shuttle service to accompany guests in this little corner of paradise.
